#11 Plastic is DOWNCYCLED into other products... and that happens to about 8% of the global plastic stream. The rest ends up in our landfills and our oceans. A single use plastic bottle, will never be made into the same item again. It has to do with the melting point... unlike metal and glass. please google this and you will see what I mean.

#12 Midway Island is in the center of the world's biggest ocean... the entire ocean is covered with this plastic that floats... it washed up on the beaches by the tons each year.... have a look at this video from the same team making this MIDWAY film, when they tried to clean one of the beaches. It is a useless task... it's clean for a day... and full of plastic again the next day. Cleaning it is not possible... we have to turn the tap off first!

#13 80% of this material comes out of our rivers... this is scientific data... the rest comes from ships and intentional dumping. So this means that the far majority comes from inland... coastal towns etc... so no matter where we live, we are part of this issue. Only solution is to stop using the SINGLE USE PLASTIC in our daily lives.

Only solution is to STOP Using this single use crap in the first place! There are alternatives... stop using bottled water, dont' use single use plastic bags etc etc.
