However, if I may complete my last comment, the word fuck does have germanic roots, but it is still unknown to where it comes from. It may have come from very old dialects because a lot of those languages (germanic ones I mean) have sound-a-like words with close meanings relative to copulation or breeding. Even though I may have been cocky in my last comment, I didn't pretend to know the origins of the word "fuck", but I did know it didn't come from "ficken" as you may have thought.

#19 actually the meaning of the german word "ficken" as the german use it today comes "fuck" and not the opposite. Although the german did exist before, but didn't have the same meaning. If you have studied the german language or if you are evn german, you should know that "ficken" meant, back in the days, a quick back and forth movement but not meaning "fucking" even though that same kind of movement is involved. It was used in a more general way, without exclusively meaning "to fuck".

I hope you are not german cause that would explain your ignorance and therefore, pardon you from talking without knowing what you are talking about, even though that is not acceptable wherever you come from.

Hey buddy I think you are trying to bust someone who isn't really trying to make a point about real "powers". For your information, Hiro Nakamura does have powers, but he doesn't really exist. He comes from the "Heroes" series which are very good by the way. So, it is kinda sad to see you have some sort of "argument" with him, but if you wondered why you had a negative rate, well now you know why. But you should watch heroes, its pretty good.

This was a very nice video. Those 2 actors are from Quebec, so is the producer as far as I know. I think it's cool that artists get somehow the attention they need on a bigger scale and not the relative small one in the french speaking artistic community (it most of the time, doesn't cross our province's borders). Because yes, the actors are french speakers, which the fact that the movie title and dialogue are in english (I know, barely 2 replies, but...) confuses me a little, but that's alright.
And some smart ass might say that our artistic community doesn't expand much outside of our province because we are french speakers and I would sadly have to answer, you are right. However, one can notice an increasing interest from the "great public" into what is done by us, but I won't go listing though, I have already written way more than I thoguht I would write. Right on! We even have competitions like such, but with real snowmobiles and on grass . This one is kind of an exception, the guy probably just felt like tuning a snowmobile to a "superfast-not-so-snowmobile-because-it-has-wheels-instead-of-skis" and it actually ended up being a success. On a last note, if its sounds crazy, just do it.
