This system does work, I have experienced it. We are all conditioned to seeing red lights, zebra crossings and lines in the middle of the roads to segregate traffic. When these are removed we slow down and approach with caution, accidents disappear, tension and agression are reduced and trafic flows much smoother.

However if it becomes so close that he alone cannot prevent a collision, then the other must do something too. In this case he went to port which made matters worse. Both ships then are to blame.

These colonials still use the archaic weights and measures system, lbs and ounces instead of kg and grams, feet and inches instead of metres and centimetres, fahrenheit instead of celsius, tons instead of tonnes, gallons instead of litres.....They think Paris is in Texas, they spell a lot of English words incorrectly and they've buggered up every war they've ever attended. There's not much hope here.

This applies mainly to one group of people, they are called women. Women are constantly distracted by all things glittery and colourful. If I go to a mall, I go there to specifically get something, I know what time it is because I have a watch, I turn left equally as much as right, I know what to buy in supermarkets, no more, no less, I know where I am in Ikea because I look at the map to go straight to the area I am interested in taking the shortcuts, and I always know exactly where I have parked my car......
