The only thing stupider than trying to drive up that hill is thinking that the ice is super effective because the drivers are from a specific country. The truth is citizens of USA are from all over the world. People immigrate for the chance to achieve their dreams and freedom from oppression. Some of those people aren't educated on how to drive on ice, but that has nothing to do with their geographic location.

FTV "If I'm a good Darwinist, I've got to believe there's a reason for that"
That's a perfect example of blind faith. Don't believe me? Let me make it easier to recognize.
"If I'm a good Creationist, I've got to believe there's a reason for that"
Obviously there is a difference between a Creationist and a Darwinist, but this is not one of them.
The reason for people to attempt to discover new information through physical means is just as illogical as the reason for people to attempt to discover new information through spiritual means.
Instead of using our differences to segregate us from one another, why don't we use our similarities as a common ground for being peaceable towards people who are different from us?
In the United States it took time, but African Americans were given the rights they deserved. Then, women were too. Now, gays are fighting for "equality". I use quotes because despite equality granted by the government, the two previous groups have certain pros and cons that no other group has.
Darwinists, I disagree with you on some level, and I don't believe your evidence supports the theory.
Creationists, I disagree with you on some level, and I don't believe your evidence supports the theory.
Both sides, stop wasting everyone's time arguing your points and teaching your opinions as facts.
Peace.

Girls have two options - tell me what they actually mean or gtfo.
It is selfish to encode emotions and expect someone to decode them.
It is selfish to share problems you don't want solved with a someone who is willing to solve them at any cost to self.
It is selfish to set traps designed to cause either person to get hurt so that the suffering is then used in an attempt to manipulate your partner.
It is selfish to demand proper consideration for something a person doesn't properly share, especially when the person making the demand isn't properly considerate or respectful.
Good luck to the guys and girls who can't agree with me.

#33 Based on what you said, everyone deserved to be able to live off of their credit, but it is okay with you that the people of WikiLeaks can't live off of their actual income. If someone died because they're credit card didn't go through, it is not Anonymous' fault that a life would depend on credit any more that it is the PayPal's fault if someone from WikiLeaks died because their assets were frozen.
That being said, you have three choices:
1. Blame Anonymous and PayPal for endangering people's lives for no good reason
2. Hold neither group accountable for the welfare of other people (I vote this)
3. Completely retract your statement and retain what dignity you have left.
Best regards to your wife. May she never be on the receiving end of Anonymous, PayPal, or you.

There shouldn't be a little girl trying to tell people how to think and live their lives.
Slavery is bad. Rape is bad. "Drugs are bad, mkay."
The point is, each human has a certain reach or sphere of influence.
Until enough people appear and catch the attention of the world by doing something insane like completely fasting until the children are safe and those people die for what they believe, then nothing is going to happen.

I'm a Christian and this was a fine artistic expression of the story of the first man and woman from their creation, to their fall. Sure, it doesn't go into great detail about nuances, but nuances are what people love to nitpick. No one was there, so no one can do more than say what did or did not happen. Such is the fate of second-hand historical knowledge.
If something is too unbelievable for you but not for someone else, then you should respect each other in the fact that you both have the right to believe what you will and that those beliefs do not harm others. Some beliefs are created in a way so that the best actions taken based on the beliefs cause unmentionable harm to others. That is how I would describe the beliefs of the Nazis during the holocaust. It was the actions of the community and individuals that caused such great terror and tragedy, but the beliefs they held did not touch one hair on a human's head.
Therefore, love one another, that you may set your differences aside and work together for a better future for generations to come.

One way to look at gluttony is to over indulge in food and drink.
Too much healthy food is bad. Too much unhealthy food is bad.
Are their serving sizes normal?
No, they're huge, but only this one meal and not when the person beside them is starving.
Their portion is not condemning them, but you, a mere human, are condemning them by omission.
You are omitting salvation and grace, but throwing it in people's faces that they will be punished unless they obey.
This is the exact opposite of what the Holy Bible teaches about love for mankind.
Please, don't spread false teachings about Judaism or Christianity or any other religion or culture for that matter.

There are two people who are literally identical in every way, but one is a terrorist and one is a civilian. You have no way of telling. Which one do you let enter the hospital?
The answer is, you create a way to tell the difference.
You may not like the way things are, but feelings be damned because it is the only thing humans have that comes close to working. If for any reason you can develop a system that's obviously better without breaking limits of acceptability, then by all means share it with the whole world and put an end to this madness. Otherwise, you're worthless when it comes to it.

#43 You seem to fail at understanding what #42 meant if you think it is bigotry to conclude that it is socially wrong. Honestly, if you can't figure out how it could possibly be socially wrong for a gay couple to raise a kid, then you might want to figure out how it could possibly be socially wrong for a straight couple to raise a kid, then remember you consider them equal, therefore the gay couple must also be as subject to judgment as the straight couple would be. In fact, he or she even made mention that it will not be discussed, which to me suggests that #42 knows that most people who don't actually care to reach an understanding aren't worth explaining it to.

The biker is responsible for going the wrong way down the one-way street. The pedestrian is responsible for jay walking. These events led to a collision involving both parties.
It's not enough to side with the pedestrian just because the other guy was on a bike. The two bodies collided and an equal force was distributed between them both. There is no proof of malicious intent within the presented evidence.
As for the original claim, I rule in favor of the defendant, and for the counterclaim, I rule in favor of the plaintiff.
Thank you for wasting the courts time and taxpayer's dollars.
Case dismissed with prejudice.

If your source of information for how well citizens of the United States of America know geography leads you to believe that an overwhelming majority of them can not locate it on a map as well as consider it a country, then you should know that you are being lied to by whoever provides this information. First and foremost, neither nationality nor culture absolutely dictate what level of education a human can achieve. Second, the processes involved in gathering and recording the information should repeatedly produce very similar results consistently. Third, there must be no bias in the process in order for the information to be accurate. Lastly, no matter what the truth is, the prejudice towards other human beings which you have done absolutely nothing to improve their knowledge is a sign of your individual lack of maturity.

Some people regardless of nationality do stupid things that they catch on video tape. The wealthy minority seem to receive and crave more attention in USA. Also, people like to give attention to a select few in an attempt to make all citizens of USA look ignorant, arrogant, warmongering, destructive, and undereducated. These are just mudslinging campaigns that if they are working, people the world over need to be educated that the bias of the propaganda means that it isn't logically trustworthy facts or conclusions.

I think that there is a lack of mention of the fact that it is the extremes of each perspective that leads to serious issues, not just the existence, with possible exception for the present hedonist perspective. I have countless hours with video games. Where did I learn social skills? I studied people every day in high school. I should have known more sooner, but some people were more worried about medicating me so I wasn't so darn active. I love to learn, be creative, meet new people, and live for the future. I also love to know that when I have down time I can play any game I feel like, and often I prefer social games either multi-player with my real life friends or group work over the internet with people I know I can trust to work for the good of the group rather than the individual. I don't think I'm a long shot. I think there are millions of people like me who seek balances in future and present. We know that it will be more difficult to maintain both. We are tired of life not being challenging.

Here is a crash course in the realm of logic:
Making it seem like a person is making an argument, then showing how that argument is flawed may seem very witty, but it doesn't prove anything.
Here is an example using the same flawed logic to make an attempt to support Christianity and discredit Scientists:
Many scientists say that Christianity has killed millions of people. Christianity doesn't kill anyone. People kill people.
I didn't prove that any scientist make that claim.
So, debunking the claim that no one made using common sense makes me look smart, you feel smart, and them look dumb, but it's not at all logical because I'm arguing against an obviously wrong point that no one is actually making.
Also, saying science invented things is like saying the thought of gravity prevents us from floating away. It doesn't. The gravity itself does. People invent things not science. It's like a path. Only the traveler accomplishes something, and more often than not the travelers have accomplished the most by straying off the path.

Then I noticed, you guys seem to have an error in communication when it comes to the comments. I know some of you dwarf the average intelligence of internet users by how you word your comments and express your opinions in them.
So, here is a friendly reminder: Blaming a large group of people for one person's fault is illogical, but propagated by almost every media - no matter how conservative, liberal, indy, or mainstream, and neither the continent, country, or station.
If we want to make a change we must hold individuals accountable as per the laws. If you oppose something, do not be swayed by naysayers, slanderers, or protesters.
Learn from history, apply it to the present, and seek to hold truth, mercy, and justice for yourself, your family, your community, and your country. If someone moves to your country and they don't like it, well they can deal with it or leave.
More and more minority opinions are being pushed onto an overwhelming majority of people with more credible or logical standards and balances.
I shall leave you with this quote:'Tolerance And Apathy Are The Last Virtues Of A Dying Society' - Aristotle
