They meant that bread is very hard to produce and one must treat it with respect. Now I see almost everyday in the american movies and videoclips how people (mostly young) are breaking, crushing, setting on fire cars, computers, cameras, fridges etc. without any necessarily. It's easy, because they haven't produced anything in their lives and don't know how hard is to make a single thing.
I hope (because they are obviously poorly educated) when they grow older to man?facture the same things that they was breaking.
