I can't see the problem. Long before climate change becomes a serious issue, we'll most likely have been wiped out by an asteroid strike. Nothing to worry about folks. Move along now.

He was very lucky his back took the force of the fall. A bit further to one side and hitting his head on the cast iron weights... it could have been Game Over.

Needles are a separate issue, but if people aren't provided with homes or public toilets, where else are they supposed to take a dump?

He pronounces Guillotine as 'Gee-uh-teen' which is unusual for an English speaker, but I'm thinking - OK, so he's bilingual French/English. But.. then he goes and ruins it all by saying ParIS instead of Pareeee. Whoops!

Oh please Austin. get real. The condescending and insulting tone of krazeeyez's comment is plain to see. 'People want to fix their deprerssing lives', 'take the UK back to some magical 1960s', 'more isolated', 'more depressed',... really? I for one am not depressed and I don't feel isolated. I have no money worries and my financial plans stretch well into the future, 1950's ? What was that? It's meaningless to me, and just a silly comment he's invented and held up as a target to then go ahead and shoot down, which I did, in a similar tone. I doubt if he'll be traumatised, I think he can handle the reply, he doesn't need your comfort.
Yes, statistically speaking, the consequences will not be felt as much by those who most strongly supported it. And that's a shame, because many of them will not be around to experience the full benefit of the changes, but everyone else will, and that's good.
As for your final point, as you say, no one is saying it will be easy or painless. The difference in viewpoints is clear when you look at Krayzeey's closing remark. He obviously believes the UK is facing some terminal decline resulting in a final apocalyptic nightmare scenario. That's the way Remoaners prefer to see things. But those who voted Leave are more optimistic and believe in short term pain for long term gain. The country will weather this storm and come out of it a better place to live and work.
As you say. We will see. Incidentally, I plan on being around for some considerable time yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits of Brexit, for everyone. This is my last word. I know you never leave a comment section unless yours is the final one, so go ahead if it makes you feel better, but I can't promise I'll read it.
Kind Regards

#6 It's intriguing to hear some people profess to know precisely the many and varied reasons why the majority of British voters decided to leave the EU, and to also know what the socio-economic position of the country will be in ten, twenty or thirty years time. What do you do for a job? Are you a mind reader, or perhaps an astrologer?

12. sockcooker commented 6 years ago on video Last Week Tonight - F*ck the European Union
John Oliver is a nasty little prick. He should try to imagine the United States allowing themselves to be governed by another country. Once he realised just how distasteful that would be to the majority of Americans, he might begin to understand why the UK voted to leave the EU.

13. sockcooker commented 6 years ago on video Paying $137 bill with origami pigs
#7 Regarding paying a £40,000 tax bill in £1 coins, just imagine how much trouble you'd have to go to in order to acquire forty thousand one pound coins, not to mention to then transport them to an office to pay the bill. All that would prove is that you're an idiot.
Yes, the kid handed over dollar bills, so it was legal, and if he'd have gone through with it, that would have been awesome, but the cashier stood his ground and the kid bottled out, so I'll leave it there and say that the kid was most definitely LAME!
Final score: Cashier 1 - Lame kid 0

#4 Leaving aside the point that legal tender need only be accepted in certain maxiumum quantities, ie. in Britain
1 pence coins > upto 20 pence
2 pence coins > upto 20 pence
5 pence coins – upto £5
10 pence coins > upto £5
etc.
Here what we had was a battle of wills, and as you said, the kid didn't have the guts to follow through.
He's not awesome, he's just a loser.

#2 Theres nothing awesome about spending hours folding up dollar bills, only to have to spend even more time unfolding them again before they're accepted. Video evidence in this case is not evidence. He needs a receipt for that, and the guy wasn't going to give him one until he'd unfolded them. The kid isn't as smart as he thinks he is. I'm surprised he wasn't too embarassed to post his video online for everyone to see what a numbskull he is.

The people who use religion to control the masses are not morons. They are extremely shrewd and calculating. The morons are the people who believe them and swallow their ridiculous religious dogmatic drivel.

Austin do you actually believe what you write or are you deliberately trying to mislead. Either way your words do little for your credibility, look back and you will see nowhere have i said i like her work. I wrote that she is verytalented and she is. I certainly could not paint and draw like that when I was her age, and still cant and as you finally admitted neither can you. You wouldnt know the difference between a paintbrush and a penis, though i suspect youve had more experience handling the latter.
The issue here is the casual way you dismiss her work, relying on a handful of well chosen words and phrases you have selected to make yourself appear knowledgeable in the field of art. From your many posts it is clear that it is very important for you to be accepted as an authority on a wide variety of subjects. you are the incessant bore who demands attentiona and respect but does not earn it In this case you try to elevate your own standing by destroying hers but youre fooling nobody Austin, except maybe yourself

I dont think we stand at an impasse #11 Austin i think we stand waiting for examples of your own artwork because you know so much about light, space, concept, use of colour, texture, composition, movement, proportion, uniqueness, technical skill, innovation etc etc this is things we all know nothing about and i think we will all benefit from seeing examples of your own work which will illustrate good art perfectly please hurry and provide link to your masterpieces
