well, i never liked this character ("Walter";) for the same reason, but, you cant call him mediocre, and that that's "all he knows", you are just as #4 who only sees one side of things

(and btw, english is not my primary language, so if this sounds funny, i really dont care)

The thing is, you forget that it's all Jeff and for a moment you think there really is this cranky old man insulting someone. Only a ventrilaquist can get away with that. This clip had me laughing so hard.
