please someone could give me at least an example for why the hell would you want to climb in the middle of nowhere(no hospitals or paramedics), a rock with a slope almost 90 degree with a jeep (with a dog inside...)?

At 0:09 and again in slo-mo at 0:24 you can see the dog almost getting smashed by the spare tire.
Punching the gas pedal when he did just shows the driver's inexperience.
