I was thinking of witty things to say in response to this video but all that came to mind was: How bad do the living conditions in that shop have to be that the exhibits develop psychological disorders so bad, that they start eating themselves.
Then again, albinos have always had a rough time fitting in.

A quick google on this turned up the answer. It's hard to tell with this snake being an Albino, but there are species of snakes (specifically kings and rats, this looks to be an albino rat) that have this happen. Kings eat other snakes and may have bite their own tails on the mistaken assumption it's biting another snake. What ever the reason for swallowing its own tail, unfortunately for the snake, the back teeth are angled in to prevent pray from escaping. The 'pray' in this case being its own tail. As the snake continues to flail, the tail may become shoved further and further in, unable to come out because of the hold of the back teeth. I *hope* that this poor snake got some professional help before it started to digest itself.
