That looks cool enough for me to half wish (but not really) I didn't have an arm xD
Which actually reminds me of the game Deus Ex Human Revolution where prosthetic got so advanced people started to augment themselves, which begged the question "where does humanity end?"
Cool stuff is cool :)

If we ever figure out how to get the body to recognize the objects/augmentation as its own, without having to take anti-rejection drugs, look out...a race to the cyborg future would begin. I would love to upgrade and expand the human experience beyond the wetware we were originally given.

I'm actually quite happy with how science has progressed with the use of prosthetics when it comes to replacing lost limbs. Now that they have a design like this done they'll work on getting the responsiveness increased and the movements of each digits more fluid and it will be as useful as a normal hand (without sense of touch of course).

As this technology progresses I wonder what implications it will have on the status of these people as working able or disabled? This will soon become a grey area as the technology evolves. And as some people mentioned earlier, the technology could evolve to the point where the augmented prosthetics could even be superior to the original body parts.

Exciting times.
