I don't get it. He just let the red guy take the ball. He could've easily grabbed it o.O

He could have prevented the opponent from getting the ball if he extended his leg... or a slide tackle would have worked just as well, if not better.

#6 except that he was already on his hands an knees while the other guy had gotten to the ball.
He really couldnt have slipped much worse than that. Less contact with the ball and he had some hope of getting to it, more contact and it may have made it to the players on the edge of the box. It looks very wet, even a tap will send the ball a good distance in those conditions.

Football is such an amusing game.
22 men kick a ball around a field for an hour or so.
They get cheered on by crowds of idiots.
Then news reporters waste their time producing ever more imaginative ways of describing someone kicking a ball into a net. Then people read this drivel and get excited by it.
Then they go out and waste their cash on replica football shirts and walk down the street wearing them so everyone can see what team they support and waht utter cretins they are.
Hilarious.
.... but a fantastic video.
Snotr is wonderful.

Fantastic footwork by red #7 for sure....nice pass to his teammate who wasted no time in stuffing it in the net. When opportunity knocks....be sure to answer the door! Good job!

#8 Football is awesome because it's hard to score... and when it happens it's an emotional event. A goal has weight... You wouldn't understand it...

As I've said before if I want to watch twenty-odd blokes in silly shirts and girly haircuts trying for hours to score and still failing I can go down my local pub any Saturday night.

#10. I could list you any number of things that are hard to do:
1. Eat a three course meal while riding a camel.
2. Cut a five acre lawn with nail scissors.
3. Play tennis with a sausage.
4. Climb a tree covered in axle grease.
5. Run a marathon with a grapefruit shoved up your arse.
All of these things are hard.
Are they therefore 'awesome'?

#5 By "grabbed" I didn't mean with his hand but with his feet. He was just starring at the opponent.

Whatever #12... it's just the most popular sport in the world....
Go watch NFL where they talk about what they are going to do for 5 minutes and play the game for 5 seconds... rinse and repeat.

#14 It is definitely one of the most popular sports in the world, but you forgot to mention it's the most overrated and overpaid sports/jobs in the world.
