Ok he deserved it... BUT!!! What if someone has chest pains or diabetes or something and collapses for real on the road.... YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RUN HIM OVER!

The driver may have not seen him on the road... but that's no excuse for not noticing him going down, talking on the phone perhaps?

That's one of the reasons SUV sucks.

#3 There could plenty of reasons the driver didn't see the person go down that do not have to be something like driver screwing off.
Just as easily could miss the 1 second he was going down by looking in the mirrors, adjusting any item in the car, sneezing, etc.

That is fucking outrageous. My Dad was asked, when taking his driving test "When does a pedestrian have right of way over a motorist?" And he answered correctly "Always. It's a licence to drive, not a licence to kill."

#6 There is a simple formula to help you understand this
(real injury) + (real video) = (fake injury fail)

#3 are you stupid?
"not an excuse for noticing him going down?"
From when does a person decide to notice something?
Either you notice because you saw it or you don't because you didn't see.
It is not a conscious decision one makes.

If the pedestrian did have a heart attack or twisted his ankle, I agree that this is a horrible accident, but neither the driver or him are at fault. There are things that happen that have no one to blame.

But if he was trying to fake an injury for an insurance scam then it is his fault for lying down in the middle of the freaking road, and he deserves (accidentally) being run over.

I don't see the fail here. He laid down, hoped to get run over, and he did. Where is the fail?
Oh, the driver didn't notice him, that's a partial fail, yea... that's gotta be it...

#15 You don't know why he lay down. He could be drunk, about to faint, or having a heart attack. He could be mentally incompetent. He could be suicidal.

In NO situation would it be right to drive over him. None whatsoever.

The title is wrong. Fake injury? He seems to get really injured

Nah, if it was something serious, like a stroke or a heart attack, he would not been able to react the way he did. He even got up. A man with a heart attack or stroke would not be able to react at all to those things. If it was one of those, the car seemed to have fixed it somehow...
Drunk? He seems to lay down very neatly to me, not uncontrolled at all. And even if he just laid down to be stupid, slightly intoxicated, i still believe its to try an insurance scam. And a suicidal person would probaly chose a different method than to just lay quitly down, and then get suprised the car hits him.
Nope, i don't buy it at all, he is trying a scam imo...

But i've never said it's ok to drive over him tho, just to have that said. THAT part i believe was an accident for sure.

Anyone who can laugh at another human being getting seriously injured has already lost a part of their humanity.

Maybe he did intend to claim insurance for an accident that never happened. If so he was incredibly incompetent - he didn't try to collide with a vehicle as some others have done. But even if he did intend to defraud, there are courts to deal with that. And even then, the reasons WHY would still be a mystery to anyone watching this video. What if he was utterly destitute and this was the only idea he could come up with to get some money? None of us knows, that's why courts are a better place to decide culpability and punishment. Vigilante justice is almost always unjust.

Sorry to go on about this. I'm shocked to see another human being injured like that, and disappointed to see cowardly website surfers enjoying it.

I'll add that the same benefit of the doubt extends to the motorist. It's not apparent that he intentionally ran over the guy. My comments are directed at people who have replied to this thread.

That driver was far enough to see him lying on the ground , i think he did that deliberately

No money is worth a serious injury where you suffer in pain and disability for the rest of your life.

The label is "Accident", most videos here are people getting hurt under that category. I can't see many people here saying that this video is hilarious. Most i can see here, from the 17 comments, is that people think he is a moron, and that he probably did a stupid move. Which i agree on. I've watched this video over and over now, and i see no reason for the driver to be blamed even the slightest. UNLESS the driver did it on purpose, but i really don't think so. Whether he deserved to be run over like that? I dunno, did he? If that was his intention to get run over, then... i mean... isn't it deserved then?

And the guy also gets up on his knees, and even out from the car all by himself. Nobdy in serious conditions would manage that, as i pointed out earlier. The very symptoms of f.ex. brain seizure is that you lose motoric skills and cannot move and act as normal. Which he clearly does at the end.

So yea, i stand by my opinion, that the guy managed to do exactly what he was trying to do, and the poor driver
might have been the victim here. (UNLESS, as said earlier, it was actually on purpose, which would make it just pure and simply stupid and bad)
