Vikings also kept slaves, or Trell as we called them. They were treated very well, unlike christians, who were slaughtered on sight. Common expression among vikings were "I smell christian blood - were is that fucker KILL HIM"

Slavery gets shit done.

No matter how you put it, a lot of world achievements were doable because of incredibly cheap labor.

I know, it sucks but slavery gets shit done.

Cheap labor. A lot cheaper than machines(if you have very low wages, or just plain "slavery";). Which is why history will repeat itself... eventually.

Best part is, slavery got to lvl grandmaster in nowdays. People go to work, do stuff they don't want to, get paid enough to survive and don't even complain that much. Well 90 % of us. The rest are foremans and guards. And that 1 % that are masters.
