So wait it saves space under ground but now all the space above it is well useless because of an underground bike park...Seems like a waste.

Clever idea until the power goes out. Good luck getting your bike back.

I thought bikes were meant to be 'green'. Just extra energy wasted for nothing :| Look at the Netherlands, we manage with the most bikes in the world and they are ALL parked on street level!

Bicycle theft is a good enough reason to use that system. Had quite a few stolen over my years.

#1 You're quite stupip, you know that? I would try to explain you why that "garage" and not "park", exists, but it would be such a "waste" for me. You'll probably descover that on your own, but only when you get more inteligent. Read the second comment, maybe that will help your idiocracy.

I think it's a great idea, but, if it only holds 200 bikes it must take a very long time to recoup construction costs unless use is really expensive.

As things are going in London at the moment, they should make them for mopeds and make them compulsory withing a three mile radius of the centre. :(

#13 Why, you and mopeds don't get along? :D

#14 Not at all Thunders, there is an epidemic of utter and complete bastards using them to rob people in central London at the moment. usually two mopeds, four pieces of scum with claw hammers, attacking pedestrians and car users, demanding watches, mobiles you name it sometimes it, also involves acid being thrown in peoples faces. Does this not happen in the good old US of A or do you think the guns make a difference? <3 Unfortunately and this goes against my general feeling of guns, the people getting attacked are sitting ducks, as you can't legally carry anything to defend yourself, obviously not guns, knives, cs gas nothing.
