well, the Mayas took a while to get it right but even then there are always these 5 or 6 hours to account for.
One thing is certain, they could count.

Then there is this construction/perception of time...
These discussions are more suited beside a crackling fire, beneath a beautifully clear night, somewhere near the equator with a few beers and some munchies.
