people should valued and things should used, not the other way.

It's sad that it took the tragique lost of Rachel's life to touch peoples hearts and donations to pour in when we should have noticed her kindness and sensitivity to the problem when she was alive. I'm glad that her memory will live on with the community she helped. Unfortunately, she will be all but forgotten here in a couple of months. You had a great heart Rachel. RIP.

#6....Join the club..so did I, I'm a big softy when it comes to kid's. I can't even begin to imagine how her parents must have felt. But now they have pride in the way her wish has come true.

Everything, i mean everything about this video is... just sad...
And the saddest thing is that she (and everyone else like her, every disaster) will be forgotten sooner or later...

There should be more than 300 of these wells that a small child with a big heart made possible.

one of the most touching video's i have seen on snotr so far. Great respect to rachel and her family who must have a great and terrible time going there.

only the decription is wrong, if there was a god Rachel would be still alive to watch her waterproject herself.

Why do the worst things happen to the best people?

I think the world would be better off if we either fixed africas problems, all nations, as one or destroy and kill everything and restart the continent. The situation today is grim , suffering like you would not believe. Its not worthy of any human being, worse then any prison.

If this doesn't move your heart you're an ass... Faith in humanity is still on!

I understand the message and the emotion that is warranted by this video. However, it does disappointment me that a life has to be taken in order for the wheels of change and opportunity to start turning. This incomparable charitable action is made all the more beautiful by knowing that the little girl who started it will never be seen again.
Appreciate, love and hold everyone in your life close and never take the for granted as you may have missed a diamond by trying to pick up stones.
All life is as valued as the next. You are all aware of this but thousands of third world children die every day and their families still get the short end of the stick. However, it takes one child's life from a first world country to start the ball rolling? Something is wrong here.

One love, M
