It's a Shame this is how it is , Trust me my house mate is a bass player in a band and he is always singing around the house (he can not sing to save his life)
I let him sing live in to the mic with a set of headphones on while using Autotune they way it was designed (with around 27ms latency its almost live on this machine the delay nothing)
His eyes dropped not because of his voice , but watching it pull his voice in to tune at lightning speed with almost zero flaws (you need to be at least in the right key singing for it to work , it cant fix that voice in the video).
And #1 100% Right , If I can do this at home with a 150$ sound card and a half descent computer , just think what a fully qualified sound engineer can do to just about any shit that's put in front of him with all the technology at his hands.
In short , That clip is almost possible. Except it would be done in post.
