#3 While that may be true ,and it seems the robot is quite slow when looking at what its doing ...the robot can do it 24/7 and does not cost money once its paid for.

But that I do believe it's not a very fast robot I do not know were there getting that from , it might be the fastest robot arm , but look at a pick and place machine like this that fires components on boards

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRu02F6AOmg (< omg on end even the url is right)

It might have more than one arm but each arm is firing/placing a component 1000x smaller than that cup with mm accuracy , looks a lot faster than what we just watched.

Well, it must require quite a lot of energy to put that mass in motion and stop it so quickly. So maybe it's fast but I am not sure about the energetic efficiency. It also must require tough materials for transmissions, joints, etc.

#6 Oh really? Does it run on holy spirit? (i) Electricity costs.

And in some cases it only costs a little less than Chinese workforce :'(

Anyone not impressed simply has no conception of how difficult it is to move that mass that quickly with that precision. What exactly it's doing for the demonstration is beside the point.
