#2 It's not about the monetary value, it's all about the symbolic value.

TRIPLE HEADSHOT! He certainly still got the skills but what really showed that for me was his facial expressions. There are a couple of close-ups when he is taking an aim where you can see the skills and focus of a sniper in his eyes. Like they said, "Once a sniper, always a sniper".

I'm not sure how I would feel to be presented with what is for all intents and purposes, the same gun I used to take the life of other human beings.

I'm glad that this man survived the war and fought against tyranny, but..
Nobody seemed to understand what I ment with my comment.

People at these days are still following blindly their leaders. Leaders who mostly manipulate people by not telling them the whole truth.. Leaders who justify killings in the name of their Gods.. Leaders who are driven by the lust for more wealth and power.

Doesn't anybody here love peace anymore?

-God/Religion = Is a good moral teacher, but if it tells you to kill, for god's sake don't follow it.

-Leaders = Are for good, but if they're telling you to do wrong to another person or to nature; PLEACE don't follow them.

-Army = A Tool used to murder people - It's for nothing more.

Just watched the new Walking Dead, and I'm pissed about The Governor character. He's like average world leader, cheered by pack of ignorant sheep. :D

#8 Maybe you should think again before you comment.

Were it not for the Allies fighting a war against Tyranny, oppression, and evil, you would be a German citizen of the 3rd Riech or a Subject of Soviet Russia.

You kids need to wake up to reality and read a bit more history before you go off talking.

#10 Perhaps you should think & check history before you comment.

I'm from Finland and here were no allied forces during the war. We fought alongside with Germans against Soviets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jatkosota Then came the peace negotiations with Soviets and one of the terms was that we had to break our alliance with Nazis and drive them out of Finland (Lapland was a Nazi territory) We fought them off and for that they burned the whole Lapland as they went.

But anyway, that's not the point.. The point is that; How in the hell people obey their leaders.. Like Hitler.. Or like Mussolini.. Stalin.. Hussein.. Gaddafi.. George W. Bush.. and so on. Some one just says that it's time to go to war and people just do it, by not even questioning the reasons. And it's also weird how these people even gain their power in the first place :O

Like, I see you are from states and you have strong Christian values.. It's says in The Bible that; Thou shall not kill.. Doesn't that mean anything to you, or doesn't your moral say that it's wrong to kill people?

But yeah.. This is snotr, so let's all be friends and watch some vids :)

#8/#11 My point is that Finland would be part of Soviet Russia had it not been for the Allies.
I read the same Wiki you linked, I also love watching the history channel. You think Russia would have let Finland go w/out the Allies in 1944? I mean, they didn't let Finland go for 5 years until they came under pressure of the attack and impending Allied victory. Don't mistake me, when I say Allies, I mean ALL Allies, not just the US forces. WW2 was Good vs. Evil, don't fool yourself.

Regarding the Bible, God reigns down a lot of deathly justice against evil and I'll reference the very common story of David and Goliath.
1Sam 7:45
1Sam 7:50

And then of course there's Sodom and Gomorrah... Gen 19:24

The walls of Jericho... Josh 6:20,21

The Lord killing of Egypts firstborn... Ex 12:29

I reference of course some of the most popular and more well known verses regarding God's wrath upon evil. But the New and Old Testament have many more examples.

I respect your decision to quote the Bible, but you really should be educated on the whole book and what it contains, instead of locating one verse (taken out of context I might add) to support your cause. Whether or not you are a Christian, I highly recommend reading the Bible just as I would recommend a multitude of other great books. Reading great works really does engage your brain in awesome new ways.

By the way... "The Governor" is more of a Communist dictator than a Democratic leader.

Receiving an award, be it a medal or a black hat, for killing another human being, is wrong.
Fight to your death to defend your family, country and way of live if need be.
But don't wallow in it.
There is no glory whatsoever in taking someone's life.

His fist shot with the replica rifle was to be leathel on the fields, he hit the target straight in the main bloodvein in the leg :) .
#14 A sniper is one of the rare soldiers, who see the white of the enemies eyes, and can read the name on the clothes before taking them down at ease.

#13 Yeah, I'll give you that. And it was wrong to quote the Bible in this. I'm not a Christian but I've been raised with strong Christian values.

It's just, I don't understand all the killings and violence in history and today. Democrat or Communist, Christian or Muslim.. We are still the same kind and should be treated as equal. But I guess it's in our nature. Greed, jealousy and so on.. We like to revenge and we remember all the bad qualities for a long time but forget all the goodness, so the hatred lingers on in us.. But yeah, guess I'm just young and foolish still. :(|)

Thank God. He can still kill people.
It would be such a waste if he would do something usefull like helping people.
I would have thought that in his age he would have known it better.
