Weird, when I grew up things didn't really go down like that. Hopefully kids are far more giving and caring these days, like in that video... or mankind really isn't evolving very much.

Now do the filming again, but this time with kids who are starving and haven't eaten in days. :)

Talk to me,

My kids are pretty much the same with food. Thanks good they don't know what it means not to have enough, BUT I can imagine that same experiment with one getting 2 toys and the other none

#5 It is my experience that people who have less and are on the brink of poverty are far more likely to share what little they have.

Was i the only one who noticed that the kids that got nothing, but got offered half from the other, they took the biggest piece for themselves. Leaving the one with good heart, less value. And that is today's lesson in a cynical world, give someone your little finger, and whops there goes your hand...

I noticed that happened several times but only when the kid was given a choice between the two unequal pieces.
When they were offered a specific piece they took it with out complaining.

This is a simple but very interesting experiment 8-)

In this environment it's not surprising, but put them in your home and see what happens!

I solved the problem with who's is bigger by allowing the one that did not cut it to pick the half they wanted. You'd need a pretty fine measuring stick to see the difference!

- children are tought to share tings, and to be rightful. when they start to think themselves then it all goes bad.
