Humans have been around for at least 150000 years. Also, cockroaches DO carry disease. I have a feeling that this infographic is full of bogus information.

The movie does not mention that there IS already a message in their DNA.

#5 Oddly enough, 98% of our DNA is "junk DNA" (cf Coursera course called "From biology to Biotechnology" done by the University of Maryland). This junk DNA does not code any proteins for the proper functioning of the living being. Therefore, it could totally be possible to code information in those parts of the DNA without changing how the cockroach lives.

Having done a quick search online I found this "Cockroach disease can affect humans. Cockroaches are known to carry diseases like dysentery, typhoid and poliomyelitis, as well as gastroenteritis"...its a pity the people who made the video didn't do a bit of basic research..BTW....I used to be a pest control serviceman...a "Rat catcher" so I already knew the little buggers can carry disease. And no...we didn't really "catch" the rats...we killed them.

Well, the bugs themselves might be disease free but they live in human trash, crawl around in pipes you don't want to know what's inside. That's a big problem in itself. Then again you get struck by lightning when you walk outside your home. Life is a gamble no matter how you twist and turn it. Either you live a long life or you don't. We could head to work tomorrow, get stuck in some traffic and something bad happens and that's it. GG. The least concern is the bugs around us. You'll never get rid of them entirely.

1:40am, dark room, headphones on, watched this vid. OK, meh. Clicked next vid, with bees and hornets, just as the hornet goes into the bees hive a bloody big German cockroach comes out of nowhere, runs across the desk and straight up the headphone cord. HELP nearly ripped me ears off jerking back from the desk. Start beating at it with the mouse pad, mouse everywhere, keyboard exits stage left, cockroach saunters off, problem buddy?
Anything with more than four legs needs a good whacking, IMO.

I used to think they were disgusting, and some still are lol..would eat one or as many as I could(of certain type) if forced/dared and on camera..I would enjoy them crawling on me..not in my food though..prob tickle..the ones in grassy areas prob are cleaner, heck dogs n cats n some humans have more disease than these critters..if they can enter my orifices (mouth, nose, ears, rectum) without causing much issue..they can camp out anytime on me or in me lol but since they are the most perfect organism ever according to this article, I just might want them to take up permanent residence..I think the long ones that are brown are nice looking and would hope they would stay inside of me, provided pics and vids are posted online lol..the other ones are too creepy/dirty
