WOW...that guy certainly has a way with animals that's for certain....and that's one VERY lucky calf ...and mother. I'm pretty sure I would have to scared to help, thinking I'd have done more harm than good.

I'm thinking this guy has been, or is, living in a farm area. For most people in the country side this is "normal knowledge". Good thing tho, prob saved both lives.
And yea, a farmer can look "modern" as well, in case anyone was having a stereotypical image in their head already

#6 What does NRA membership have to do with helping an animal in need? Are you suggesting all NRA members would have just shot the poor creature? What an ignorant fool.
Chew on this:
"According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, those who have come under fire most in America’s gun-control debate — game-hunters, marksmen, and other gun-owners — actually generated nearly $1 billion in tax revenues that will be used to protect America’s wildlife. The proceeds are set to be distributed to all 50 states’ fish and wildlife conservation initiatives."

How much did YOU kick in? Leave the politics at home and enjoy the miracle of life. Jeez.

I have to disagree that this guy is a vet. I would have done the same thing pull the borning baby out and open airways and try to get the placenta out of the woumb. I have no vet medical experience but i know about biology. The rubber gloves are from emergency pack i have similar in my car.
People nowadays have no connection to nature anymore. They do not know what do with animals i found this very sad..
Anyways this video makes me smile big up
