What a bunch of fucking idiots. Sorry.
That's ~53 km2 of nature wasted. Bigger than a patch of 7km*7km.
I could do with that much more oxygen...

Yeah yeah there is an abundance of natural habitat, but why waste if when it's unnecessary? Imagine how many jobs it takes just to maintain that shit.
All from taxpayers' money. Who don't know about it.

#7 I agree wholeheartedly. If not for that cleared space our border agents might not be able to catch all those sneaky Canadians crossing over to the US to get needed medical care.

#10, Canadians have no need to obtain medical care in the US since it happens to be much better there than here anyways and everyone has health care insurance,something we're trying to establish here too, but many seem to be against. Meds are much cheaper too , so if anyone would sneak over, it would be the Americans. There are already bus loads of elderly going to Canada to buy meds there. US, wake up! No, I'm not Canadian, but I like how Canada takes cares of their citizens.
