I am afraid of heights... and I have a sprained wrist. So I couldn't do it because of my mental state and my physical state... :'(

At those heights, opening your chute just half a second too late can make the difference between life and death - or at least life and life in a wheel chair.
You need to have time to react if the main chute fails and deploy the backup.

#5 Most (or all) basejumpers don't carry a backup because they know they don't have the time to open it.

Either the primary does the job ooor...Goodbye cruel world!
