The stupidest game ever invented?
This guy appeared on American Inventor to show his marvelous *cough* game Bullet Ball. Hilarious and very sad at the same time

That story doesn't add up to me. I just don't understand why it took selling a home and all his possessions and a good vehicle to build a... table and bying some balls for it. How can it be so expensive? It looks like something that can be made using 50 bucks and a bunch of wood for material.

this just blows my mind..... i don't get it !...i must be an idiot
PLEASE someone explain to me why dose it take all that money to build a god damned table and 12-16 god damned balls ???
PS: I made a ping pong table, a table football game and many more games just FOR FUN !! and it cost me about 80 $ (all of them combined) I can build that bulletball thing in 4 days and with 20$
BUT IT IS FLAWED !!! because the other guy can just put his hand on the table (elbow and all) and block every shot with little effort

Hey Guys, this inventor is following his dream. If you just look at the cost of the table and the balls you will miss where he has spent all his money.
Here are what I suspect would be some of the costs involved that he spent all of his assets on.
First of all a name search for the game. Then registration, a proffessionaly drawn blue print of the game. Next taking out a world wide patent, more than likely he has a seperate company to sell his product through, so there is more costs in openning up another company. I would imagine endless phone calls to perspective buyers and game companies, probably drives from one end of the country to the other follwing up leads and dead end promises that have led nowhere, remeber it is he dream and he will follow his dream where ever it leads him and regardless of what it costs. If you have ever invented something and endeavoured to put it on the market I am sure that you would be aware of all the hidden costs. Yes sadly it is a fruitless venture as the game has nothing desirable about it, but human endeavour drives this man because at the end of the day all he has to show for his 26 yrs is his game.

FAIL + DO NOT WANT.
Dude should've just invented the dumb game and moved on.
Really sad. Too bad he has no perspective.

26 years?? Such a waste!!! And for what? Dude, you don't SELL you LIFE for a dream game! First study the facts, the opportunities, the chances, every aspect of that idea and MAYBE THEN go for it!!! Such a waste! Sorry but I have to say that I'm not sorry about that guy, he just wasted 26 years of his life for nothing!

Don't go to the link that "virali" gave to you!!!! It's a Trojan trap!!!!

... where is this man's common sense? I saw a few episodes of this show and lots of losers on there had the same sob story and were blind to what a waste of time their lives were... sad

29. jenarmywife commented 15 years ago
btw, i wonder how "bulletball extreme" works? hope it's waaaay more exciting than the original... and why doesn't his wife talk/knock some sense into him?

this can't be true :o
this game takes no effort to make, has no gameplay at all, and is just plain boring (maybe fun for a few minutes)
and the name.... His tears had to come out when he was explaining he had nothing left, this didn't happen so i dont think it is real
btw if it really was real, he wouldn't have forgotten his wooden table and plastic balls (which looked like balls from beachtennis)

i wonder how many of these were bought because of how pathetic his story was.
26 years over a freakin table game? is his wife crazy too, why is she still with this loser?

I couldn't watch this. Ultimate disappointment after everything he has lost is just impossible to watch. Also, was he crying at the end as he walked away? But you have to ask. What's the point of such misguided determination?
Edit: A Google Search answered my question. Check the links.

It appears as if Mark did get some publicity, if not votes. I hope it works out for him.
There's even a website for this.
