That's a weapon that won all the wars, or at least was in all of them.

Ofcourse, if you want to show how a weapon works underwater there are no way for a stuff like M-16.

Use plexiglass next time...no shattering at all, only a small bullet hole!

#1 Yep , very good design. Kalashnikov used the best weapon technology available to copy their functions and incorporate them into a great gun.

"The AK-47 is best described as a hybrid of previous rifle technologies : the trigger mechanism, double locking lugs and unlocking raceway of the M1 Garand/M1 carbine, the safety mechanism of the John Browning designed Remington Model 8 rifle, and the gas system of the Sturmgewehr ."

#3 The AK-47 was not even made until after WW2, so which "all the wars" are you talking about?
Are you still in grade school?

#13 Those are not "all the wars", and the AK has been on the loosing end of all three of them.

Seeing an AK brings back memories of cleaning my service rifle for hours and hours. Forget to do the daily maintenance and the whole thing rusts inside :P
