I don't know why, but I think it's fake. It sounds like it was recorded in a studio, the music is just too "clean" for a handheld camera filming a guy that's moving around.
I'm not dissing his talents, I wish I could play like that even without dribbling a basketball.

As a chap who has been playing guitar for a few years, it always seems odd to me that this technique of playing with one hand (essentially hammering with your fret hand) has become so popular. Just when I thought I was getting good I see people playing with one hand. This leaves their other hand free to raise their middle finger at me.
It's like learning how to grow tomatoes, only for someone to come along and do it without soil. Part of me thinks it's just been different for the sake of being different.

#4 depends on the camera or if there is maybe an external microphone around. and since he seems to be a musician or atleast a semi professional you can almost expect him to own a microphone, like all of us musicians do ;-)
also given by the speed of his hands you can clearly hear that he makes minor mistakes on tapping here and then.
all in all brilliant. but i would go and vote for "real"
