it seems to me that the robot is only defending the goal, how about a little ofenssive.

#1 it would probably took forever.
#2 for that you need some intelligence. And robots nowadays have none. All it does is follow the pack.

It should be able to work out when the puck is going nowhere near its goal and (if it's not playing an offence) not bother moving toward the puck.

The software has room for improvement...
