Well aren't those balloons made of petrochemicals? They also use electricity for being manufactured. Not much of a saving if you ask me... :/

Someone should tell them that our helium supplies are lower than our petroleum!

Did the last guy say "I seriously couldn't do without the balloons" -- Creepy much?

And the woman says there's nothing more economical than this. Which world are they from??

"save oil, save time, save money"

yeah.. "waste helium, waste plastic, pay for maintenance"

looking for options is great. however, they should think about something on a bigger scale to not only cover some parking lots

Its the perfect solution for the company. It makes it easier for people to choose the car over other alternatives. They get good publicity and it doesnt make people save so much oil that the oil-company needs to shut down gas-stations. They are an oil-company, why would they want to sell less oil? I hope Im wrong. :/

Who will save helium now? Still a genius idea.

But use more oil on the trucks delivering the balloons, making the balloons themselves and the work into placing the balloons there. It's a good idea in theory but when you add up all the small things that have to be done to get it going, it doesn't look worth it!

PATHETIC....! :O

Yeah let's not address the problem from the abusive car use and not talk about public transportation....

Helium baloons will solve everything. That's the kind of idiotic ad you would have seen in the fifties....

Yeah, let's trade oil, of which there is still plenty of, for helium which is rare and getting scarcer and scarcer and above all is needed for high-tech equipment, such as MRIs. :(

Probably wastes more than 1l of oil per balloon used.

So,
What are the balloons filled with?
Hydrogen...No.
Helium... almost certainly.
Helium is a very scarce and a nonrenewable resource.
We need the helium for serious medical and scientific purposes.

This is insane!!
