No matter how many of these "coming home surprise" videos I see, I can never ignore the WAR/innocent-lives-lost factor...how many children lost their families in the country he just got back from?

It's not always the fault or the will of the government... some things have to be done. I would go to war if I could.

#3, #4, I know...war is complicated (controversial in this case) and a soldier is usually just doing his job...but I couldn't have worded it any differently without going all political..and it wouldn't change the fact of what I said.

I wish i could vote up #2 a thousand times. For every video like this, there is a hundred wives, daughters, sons weeping for their lost fathers. "All war is a symptom of man's failure as a thinking animal." (Steinbeck)
