#4 i think having a camera with you is becoming a motivator for people doing more nice stuff.

even if they do this so they can post it somewhere to show what they did, still good of them for doing so.

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine...she misjudged the gap she had between a flower bed and a drunk on the pavement and was well and truly stuck...then four of the local Thugs came along, they dived over and one on each corner of her wheelchair lifted her completely clear and settled her back down again. Even the copper who had seen it from the other side of the road was gob-smacked. Nice one lads!

I used to be like that. Got yelled at for trying to help a couple of times. Never again. People are jerks, even when in trouble.

#8 Helping an old lady half way across the street and helping a drug addict by finishing the last of the heroin. >:) ACtually, the last one would be more of a death sentence :(

I once helped a guy pick up his bike and his scattered books where he pretty much just put up a frown and left without a thank you or anything.

Then some time later, I was the one having my dumb ass pulled up by a stranger. I remember being confused and I dont think I thanked him either. I really want to afterwards of course. But I forgive the guy with the bike and books now.

#10: It's not helping but doing it without expecting anything in return which demands the greatest effort.
