Now Sizzlik might loose his fear of flying. The risky part for a plane is start and landing.

I wouldn't say "indefinitely" but "...until the heating plates are cold" >:)

#3 Loose my fear of flying? Its scary to know that you are in a metal tube with wings filled with kerosin flying over and endless ocean..but flying in a paperplane over some hot metal plates..heeell no, thanks. :D

Not knocking it...far from it! But how the hell do you "discover" something like that?

It's also a spectacular fire hazard in case the plane does land eventually.

#5 I hope you don't drive or cross the street every once in a while - or even just step outside the front door. At least the chances of being taken out by a drunk driver with a revoked license and no insurance are zero in the air.
Statistically, flying is and will probably always be safer than staying or traveling on earth.

#5 I know that flying is one of the safest methods of travelling..i still dont like it. Like the fear of hights..its perfectly safe to stand on top a skyscraper..still many are very afraid of it.

Technically that's soaring, same as birds finding a thermal in the wild.
