Its an advert by one of the Phone companies, it was shown in a newspaper over here (UK) if its based on life i have no idea...but I'd like to think it was

#13 Well in this example I think it is more likely a hospital stay will incur charges in the multiple thousands... not $25. So if you want to write American dollars, the decimal would need to go 3 places to the right.

#14 Guess you dont get what i ment..when i write 25 thousand dollars, i would also write 25.000$ (or 25.000,00$) ..since thats the way some people are used to (mostly europe) while americans write 25,000$.

#15 LOL... no I get it. But when I see what looks like 15 dollars for a hospital stay, I had to say something! I had forgotten how different we all sometimes write the same thing.
