The human brain has 100 000 000 000 brain cells with about thousand times more connections. These numbers themselves say that lots can go wrong if someone tries to override us.

poor mouse,
actually it would be interesting to add a memory, lets say to live as superman for a day, or experiencing a bungy jump if you are afraid of life, or eating something really expensive

I believe scientists successfully added a fake memory to a mouse brain so, to #3 yes it can go very wrong, but the question is "Can we be overriden" ?

#3 Wouldn't that be a proof of redundancy within the brain limiting actual damage?

Concerning the video, maybe in a few decades we could get high on light without having to damage our bodies!
