What's going on, snotr? Last week I submitted the latest TNL August/September fail compilation--which has been available for two weeks now, and is one of the best compilations of fail yet--but instead you give us this???

#1 your body acts like an antenna you don't need all this stuff to try it. I remember as a kid putting my finger on broken antennas and getting a signal. The bigger the surface, the better you'll get the signal.
Depending on where you are it works with only headphones. you can hear a weak radio signal with many static only by taking them in your hand if you are in the good place.

#4 Yes, you are right, but sticking the jack into your ass won't do the trick, the amplifier needs certain impedance i think? So he's changing it somehow (the orange box) and voilà- body antenna.

#2, if you claim it's available at youtube or anywhere else, you have failed to give us links. Science alone is innocent, those who use it may not be. Anyway, I can't see any immediate harm in this.

#6 Yes, many times as i was a kid, just put your finger a broken antenna on an FM/AM receiver and you'll get it.
The quality principally depends on the wave length you body is able to intercept and the size if the interconnection.
As your body does it even without you noticing, it's safe. Your body act as an antenna and the receiver amplifies the signal.

Your body as an absorption efficiency of about 120MHz (radio waves with a λ about 3/3.5m). But still, the human body isn't a very good antena for RF. :)
