Just make sure it's a female. The males have venomous spurs on their rear legs. Won't kill you, but the pain can last for ages.

A new addition to my list of pets I want (some of them are illegal, some of them a terrible as pets, some are not possible to keep as pets, but all of them are awesome):

-Penguin
-Koala Bear
-Owl
-Hedgehog
-Platypus

I think we can all safely agree, that the above mentioned would be awesome to have as pets.

One of the weirdest ( but cutest ) animals on Earth, warm blooded, lays eggs, semi-aquatic and with a ducks bill...what WAS his mother thinking of?

#4 hedgehog, seriously? You can have the ones that terrorise my tortoises if you want.
My top pet would be a lemur. Fed one by hand in a zoo - awesome creature.
