Thanny, you know people envy the things they are forbidden, and most governments distrust their citizens too much to allow them to own guns of any type. It is how tyrannnical governments hold on to their power. Seeing a free man exercise his rights just sets-off some people on tirades about guns since they have always been taught the evils of gun-ownership.

#9 anyone who brings up the "right to keep and bear arms" without taking into account the fact that at the time that was written the most efficient rifleman could get off at most two rounds a minute and was at best able to hit something that was within 30 yards ( maybe ) is missing reality entirely. No one has the right to have a military weapon. Gone to shoot some deer with that thing? You want to have everyone with unlimited weapons fine have a 18th century musket. You want modern weapons you go through background checks and have a reasonable waiting period.
