Amazing maneuvering, and good point #1 - I've wanted to, but never did get a full road bike. I know how I drive in a regular car after playing GTA!

In the U.S., motorcycle crash patients (without helmets) typically run up $1.3m in direct medical costs. Fewer than a third work again. A study found that taxpayers paid for 63% of their care. Biker deaths rose 18% after Michigan repealed its all-rider helmet law in 2012. $20K insurance is required in the state, but it does not even cover the initial Intensive Care costs.

This is reckless for themselves, others on the road, and everyone's tax bill!
