Why isn't this multiple-rotor thing standard? It's much safer, much more stable and quieter too. Not to mention extremely easy to control (just remember what quadcopters can do compared to regular helicopters).

In case of battery failure, what's happening ?

Classic helicopters can do emergency landing without running engine.

This thing is running Windows so i would be more worried about a blue screen than a battery failure!

#2...As in a magnetic storm? I doubt that has its electronics shielded...it add to much weight to make it worthwhile..one big sunspot..and down she's goes :-(
But the same thing applies to pretty much any aircraft...its a chance we all take.

Am I doing something wrong? It took 3 min. to download this video. I usually have to copy and paste the title of videos on this site then to you tube wher they load in seconds. What am I missing?

#2 every rotor has its own battery and energy supply.
They will be on kickstarter soon, to fund the first series of velocopters.
