This is the reason i can't get a motorcycle like this or an Audi RS6 type car. i would do something like this and FAIL.
Famous last words/thoughts, I can go faster then this. hmm I am a good driver :P :P

this is the german driving culture. all the cars let the inner lane free. even the guy with the motorcycle moves out, when the audi arrives.

Can someone please explain...

I assume the flashing red lights, is him redlining the engine.
Isn't he damaging his engine for running such high RPM for so long?

Vi have the same in Norway,but it's always one idiot that does not understand this and blocks the lane and it's really annoying >:) :S

Bugger that for a game of soldiers!..Damn, I've done 180 mph in CAR before now....no WAY would I be nuts enough to do it on a bike....and definitely not if i was the bloody passenger, mind you ....it would make a pretty good laxative!

#6 the lights aren't flashing. It just looks that way because of the shutter speed of the camera.

He's not actually redlining it; the engine can turn faster but it doesn't happen because of air drag. If he were to shift down then, *that* would kill the engine.

#5 Not only germans, but yea germans are good at adhering to the rules. We have 3-5x more expensive highways then rest of the world in the Czech Republic, yet we cannot drive faster than 120km/h in most of their sections because it would be a mortal danger. As a bonus we are forcet to pay a highway-fee despithe the fact none of our so called highways does not meet the EU highway standards (like angle of slope, radius of curves, amount of lines, etc.)
Not mentioning tha fact more the 50% drivers are not able to use the mirrors. I guess they see only forward, thatswhy almost none of them let you pass :(

#9, no this is not because of the camera.
If you look closer, you can see that it starts flashing always at the same ref.

This flashing is helping you to judge when to change gears.
Its not actually the redline, but not far away!

People always wonder why I want a station wagon as my dream car. v-10 twin turbo AWD with almost 500 hp and an equivalent amount of torque? Uhhhh yes please. Total sleeper if you don't know what an RS-6 Avant is all about. Pity Audi doesn't ship them to the Americas. :(

#4 : The bike is actually is going over 299 Km/h, it's the speedometer that is blocked to 299 Km/h. The stock bike is limited to 299 Km/h as its speedo, when you tune/reprogram your bike it goes faster even though your speedo is indicating only 299 Km/h.
