I`m not sure about the music. It fits for a particular mood but replace it with something fast paced and you would think a whole lot different. Actually most of these people look happy about their everyday life, looking at the camera with curiosity and going about in their own interesting time.

Quite possibly one of the most extraordinary videos I've ever seen. More of a window to the past than a video, really.
Its strange how hollywood has shown us images from this era in color, HD, 3D all the bells and whistles, but remembering it feels like so faded and fake compared to the vivid life in this b&w video.
Kinda makes me wish I had a Tardis.

Interesting how the men all wore hats and most of the women as well. The women that didn't still had their hair tied up in something.

Beautiful Music !! Crazy to think that EVERYONE in the video is dead !!! Tons and Tons of people and not on of THEM is alive right now !! that made this kinda creepy to watch !!

I do find it weird that 18 people have liked the statement "All these people are dead" Let me try one uum "None of these people were actually black and white". Actually I do like the very end of the film with the people (all dead now) waving the train goodbye! it was almost like it was heading off to 2013 and they couldn't follow.

One of my true snotr favorites, and yes, #18 definitely no fat people, more walking and also additional physical activity, hanging clothes outside, cutting grass, not with a drive mower, no leaf blowers, no snow blowers, less fast food...we're not doing ourselves a favor with all those "improvements".

#20 Yes and TB, Polio, no cure at all for cancer, the workhouse, poverty, the smell. Queen Victoria once said that she would bathe, one a month, whether she needed to or not. Wonderful times

how would they feel to see the future how we live now?
