Pull off the mask, first thing to do, so his face is on camera

Those who don't act are known as victims who will invariably criticize those who have the courage to act by claiming danger, danger. If more men like him rode in public transportation there will less crime because punks would know they can't intimidate a man who will defend himself.

This worked out fine because the robber had no intent of using the gun in the first place. It might not even have been loaded or a real one. Anyways, this was very dangerous and the guy acted out with no regard of anyones life around him. That makes him a hero eh?
A few years back, a few robbers robbed a bank, a guy noticed this while in his car and chased them down as they were driving away. After a few kilometers they stop, walk out the car and shoot him and his son a 10 year old in the backseat. What happens in this video isn't that far apart.
It's great that nothing happened, but just saying in most cases something *will* happen, for what reason, a stupid plastic phone? Is that really worth more than your life or those around you?

#11 You know, I used to think I should fight whenever someone tried to rob me. And I've always struggled when someone tried to snatched something from me. Obviously is a case by case basis, but usually I would agree with you.
That is, until two years ago when I was crossing the Austrian alps by myself and wounded my leg. It got pretty bad being all alone for miles of nothing but mountains and I feared for my life.
One of the many thoughts that went through my mind then was actually such an occasion when I got mugged. I remember struggling and thinking how big of an idiot I was for doing so. How much importance I had given to my cellphone in the moment and how little value I gave my life. I just wasn't thinking.
Obviously its a case by case basis, but it someone puts a gun to my head, he can have whatever the f I'm holding.
If you believe I'm a "Sheep tard" for that, well that's your problem. I hope you never have to put your belief into practice.

What was most amazing was the guy in the red coat. He was literally stalking the robber and waiting for the right moment.

Why am I seeing so many people against standing up to someone doing wrong? I find this specially shocking considering I just watch a video on this website about "What would you do?" There should be more people willing to put a stop to anything that's wrong, even though it might be dangerous. The more that's will to stand up, the less problems we'd have.

#10 The problem is that if everybody has the opinion that it is best to just hand over what ever it is the robber wants then we get more and more of this kind of robber. He just figures "i better make some money" so he just takes out his gun and casually walks through the train looking for stuff to steal because he knows he's probably not going to get stopped. The more times he is right the more times he and likeminded are going to pull this shit off. If however there was a good possibility that every time they tried this shit someone would fight back that would greatly minimize the number of robberies.
And for the people who gets pissed that he deflected the gun and that it could have went off and hit others.....Look at the video. He was caught of guard. Did you think he was superman because of the slick hair and the glasses? No he was not able to think and move so fast everything went into slowmotion. He had no time to think so he reacted with what i would think was a pretty normal responce to suddenly find a gun right in front of your nose which is to get it away from you.

I thought it was funny to watch the gal with the crutches get up and climb over them and then come back in still holding onto to then put a big back pack over one arm and grab more stuff and walk off. Yes with a lip but still. Good reaction time from her.
And yes he did the right thing. I like the robber crying that they were hurting him.

The guy grabbed the robber's gun hand and turned the barrel in towards the robber's own body. If the gun had gone off it would most likely have shot the perp.
Whether by luck or training, he did the right thing.
