This is great! But please, do not forget the homeless when Christmas is over. I believe January is the worst month for homeless people, cuz nobody cares in January.

All the simple things like socks, blankets, gloves... creating more joy for those who need it most than all the rest of our extravagance so often associated with Christmas. It doesn't take much to do good!

This is the biggest absurdity for me. How can't we solve this problem in these rich societies? How people can't have a place to sleep. So embarrassing.

That Westjet video that people were sharing had three big problems.
1. It was really just a commercial with a budget that some ad execs thought would be effective.
2. It gave to people who were already rich enough to be flying around the country at Christmas.
3. It gave most to the greediest. Someone who asked for socks got socks. Someone else asked for a tv.
I found it very unpleasant.
This is more like the real Christmas spirit.

Sure, thank jesus..Even though other people help you out, not some man in the sky.

It's very sad, indeed, in a society that produces so much wealth to have hungry people living in the street.
