'Nothing' is wrong with him, he is 'only' unusual. If society gives him unusual tasks that can best be solved with his condition, he may have a happy life without all these meds. Good luck kiddo!

Isn't ADHD some "made up" malady to make parents non accountable for their kids' actions? Maybe better parenting is the solution instead of meds.

Just the term "Attention deficit" is made up..but the general term of Hyper Activity is not. A cousin of mine is hyper active..and sure..that brings in a Attention Deficit. But we dont treat him with meds..we just exhaust him with sports. But still..learning is a difficult task for him. Many parents use AD or ADHD as excuse..but that dont means its made up in general. Its like saying autism or savant is made up...their brain is just on fire like a nonstop nitro boost..when thinking of something..they are already 3 steps ahead in thinking..but cant control the direction..so it seems they dont pay attention.

I know what it feels like to have attention deficit and hyperactivity, but way back then it was diagnosed as "bad grades"...
