As soon as I saw the vegemite...I was ready to throw up...Its like Marmite...you either love it...or hate it. But a tip (this comes from someone you couldn't PAY to eat Vergemite or Marmite) Try it thinly spread on some toast. Its also used ( sometimes) in making gravy....although WHY I can't figure out. Personally I'd sooner eat nuclear waste.

And vegemite (in case anyone doesn't know)
is spread thinly onto toast. Not eaten by the spoonful.

Give to the Irish anything continental and U'll get the same reaction. They even remove the slice of gherkin from the Big Mac for example.

Of all the stuff I came home with from my trip to Brazil, was the different foods and candy. My family and I had the best time trying out foods that we just don't have here in the US.
