Space/Time
This video blew my mind, it explains how the past present and the future are all happening at the same time. - The illusion of time : past, present and future all exist togethers

#1, or you will be confused, hard to know after this video (or in the midst or before this video?).

Did you guys notice that in the whole video they didnt mention on physics theory by name? They say like according to the einstein's theory of physics, but dont mention which... Instead they present us a slice of bread. Why is it cut in a different angle when you drive away or to the earth? According to which theory?
I personally thought that they mean the travelspeed of light and that everything that happens is already not now but in the past. But future?
More information and less shiny graphics pls

Time is not real, it is an abstract construct, created by man, that makes it easier for us to interact.
This video is wrong. There is only ONE now. Past and future are not real, they are also concepts.
Einstein also realized this, as the video tells us at the very end.
Plus time does not slow down in moving objects as much as Michio Kaku would like you to believe. He used a beam of light to calculate this and in moving objects the clocks where running slower not because time was slower, they ran slower because the light had a greater distance to travel between the mirrors, since they where moving away from the beam.
I wish people will stop spreading misconceptions like this, Einstein is rolling in his grave.

If faster-than-light travel were possible, the alien wouldn't go forward in time. He'd arrive at earth before the light of his departure, so it would just feel like he'd gone forward.
I don't see how this is any different to a supersonic plane having already passed the listener before the sound of its passing hits your ears.

There was a young fellow named Bright
He could travel faster than light
He set out one day...in a "relative" way
and returned on the previous night.
