Saw a display like that at the San Diego Air & Space Museum about a year ago. The aircraft technology of that era still impresses me today, even though it is child's play compared to turbine and jet technology of the present.

Of course, the propellers still had deflectors attached to the back, since the rounds could occasionally fire late.
