#9 the blocks contain air, the air does not circulate and makes it a very good insulation.

A little too long, but satisfying to see done. One big secret is getting the cement mixture just right. That is a skill in and of itself.

#9 In the US the hollow concrete blocks are usually filled with a pourable insulating product like
Perlite,or filled with an injectable expanding foam.Otherwise the air circulating up and down in
the hollow block wall will be a poor insulator.
