Sad to see such money, time and expertise lavished on an animal when so many of the country's human population suffer very basic if any, healthcare.

::(|) And that, my friends, is a small portrayal of courtesy to a 'Lioness in distress' which will give those cubs a reason to survive.

Sometimes people don't understand random acts of kindness... But they always make sense to me. :)

That was a really nasty wound, I can only imagine how painful that must have been. We all know that had the tables have been turned the buffalo would have been a skeleton by then, but that's nature. That treatment levels the playing field again, the buffalo likely walked away and so did the lion...until next time. We have to remember that the balance of nature is so critical, the lion will likely be that little bit slower after that operation, meaning it will need the help of the rest of the group in future kills. I think it's wonderful what the vets did. <3
