It was good and all but the dog must have felt to be in a very awkward situation and position. Imagine yourself being surrounded by a bunch of people many times bigger than you luring you with food. Then putting a leash on your neck and dragging you for a bit. After that they start touching you in a over-familiarized manner. Then you are willing to follow them but they take you to a unknown place and you find another creature being overly familiar to you.

Aaaah... a cheeseburger. That's what i use to lure in my kids.

#1 isn't that very much alike life for us humans as well? Meaning relationships. I think most of us has been with someone that "put out food and snuck a leash around our neck", but it doesn't stop us from trying again later with someone else. It's a game of chance, sometimes you just have to be trusting the unknown

It smashes my heart to pieces, to know that this happens to man's best friend. But i find solace in knowing, there are a few good people out there, willing to help animals out. Especially after all of the bad rap that pitbulls have. I tip my hat to those that help.

#6 Eldad Hagar has saved so many abandoned stray and injured dogs... how many have you got off your butt and saved.. He didnt put this animal in the position its now in, it offends me that all you see is the bad side of what hes doing. If your critical of how he does things, go do it yourself, or make a donation to help him buy 'a more suitable food'. Put up or shut up

It's not like he's going to give the dog a diet of McDonalds. Like most volunteers, he probably has a life outside of dog rescue, and swung by this location while out for lunch. Wanna make a friend with a dog?...stick a burger in his face. Some people need to lighten up.

Don't get me started on the whole pit bull issue. They are a wonderful, loving, loyal dog breed whose reputation has been ruined thanks to greedy and cruel human beings. There needs to be much harsher legislation against dog fighting and cruelty. I have a pit bull; we rescued him when he was about 9 months old, right off the streets of my city where he stood lonely and helplessly near a busy street and a bridge, abandoned by someone. He is now 12 years old. our humane society is full of abused and abandoned pit bulls. What's wrong with people? Unfortunately there are demands for more legislation against pit bulls rather than against the bad elements that breed them for aggression and fighting.
